Job Overview

As the QHSE Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) management systems. You will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of QHSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Key tasks & responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QHSE management systems, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses, implementing corrective actions.
• Provide QHSE training and awareness programs for employees.
• Monitor and report on QHSE performance, preparing detailed reports for senior management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
• Champion a culture of health, safety, and environmental awareness throughout the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety).
• Experience in QHSE management, preferably in food processing industry.
• Strong knowledge of QHSE regulations, standards, and best practices and possibly also customer requirements
• Proven track record of successfully implementing QHSE management systems.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
• Certification in QHSE management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) is highly desirable.
